Treat Your Growth Like a Business Plan—And Watch What Happens

What if the same skills that help you run your business… could help you run your life?

Stay with me here.

Most of us treat personal growth like it’s this big, emotional, mysterious thing we have to “figure out.” But if we looked at it the way we look at a business plan—clear, flexible, and based in results—we’d probably feel a lot more confident (and a lot less behind).

I’m talking vision. Strategy. Energy management.

Just like you would with your finances, your inventory, or your team.

And yes—maybe even a few story telling bracelets to stack as a reminder that you’re building something beautiful.

What Does It Mean to “Run Your Life Like a Business”?

Let’s break it down.

In business, you don’t expect everything to be perfect all the time. You try things. You tweak. You learn. You pivot.

You budget your time, energy, and money.

You assess what’s working and what’s draining you.

You make decisions based on values, not just pressure.

You invest—in tools, in people, in possibilities.

So why not treat your personal growth the same way?

Inspired Action > Struggle

If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know I love the teachings of Abraham-Hicks. One of my favorite reminders?

“Get into alignment, then act.”

That’s what inspired action is all about—it’s doing the thing that feels like a “yes” in your body, not a “should” in your head. That energy shift changes everything.

You can feel the difference, right?

One is a slog.

The other feels like flow.

I’ve noticed this pattern in my own business—bbQ & MORE thrives when I follow that alignment first. The right products come in. Events fill up. Creativity flows. And yep, sometimes the perfect bracelet stack gets created in the middle of all that inspired action.

Funny how that works.

Make Space for Your Growth Strategy

Just like a business plan, your personal growth deserves its own strategy session. Ask yourself:

• Where am I investing my energy—and is it giving me a return?

• What projects or relationships are in the red, not so good? What’s in the black, Whoo hoo, excellent all the way @?

• What do I want to feel more of this quarter—peace, clarity, joy?

This doesn’t need to be formal. Light a candle, grab your journal, and jot it down. Make it beautiful. Make it yours.

(Or come into the shop and create a bracelet that symbolizes it—wink wink. We’ve got a bar for that.)

Growth Isn’t Always Loud—But It’s Always Powerful

Sometimes growth looks like rest. Sometimes it looks like boundaries. Sometimes it’s starting something new. Sometimes it’s saying “I’m not available for that anymore.”

And sometimes? It’s choosing a word like brave or bloom or badass, stacking it on your wrist, and wearing your intentions out loud.

Subtle. Stylish. Strategic.

Just like a business plan.
