Tailgating Essentials and Sunday Supper Delights
Hey everyone! College football season and Football Sunday’s are in full swing! Today I want to highlight some of my favorite entertaining pieces from bbQ&More.
With the official start of Fall yesterday, I am so excited to shift my focus to Tailgating, Sunday supers, and simply creating beautiful tablescapes. My favorite thing I love to incorporate in tablescapes is various heights, colors, and sizes of serving dishes. I love to use different collections together like Pampa Bay, Mackenzie Childs, French Bull, Enamelware, and Nora Fleming to create a diverse and beautiful set up. I always love to have fresh cut veggies on my tables because they add color, and they are healthy! I always pre cut my vegetables and store them in a FancyPanz with a wet paper towel to keep everything crunchy. FancyPanz seal up tight, and if you are in charge of bringing something for a potluck, you have everything ready in one place! Especially if you are going to a tailgate in the heat! It may be the end of September, but it is still crazy hot. The Premium FancyPanz feature a hot/cold gel pack to keep everything at the perfect temperature. They also come with their own serving spoon, so you won’t have to worry about bringing an extra utensil for your dish!!
My favorite dish to bring to a tailgate is a dip! This Goat Cheese and Pepper Jelly dip is always a huge hit! It’s super easy and delicious. Check out the recipe below:
INGREDIENTS
1 8 oz block Cream Cheese room temp
1 8 oz block Goat cheese room temp
¾ cup Precooked Chopped Bacon 3-3.5 oz shaker or bag
1 cup Pepper Jelly
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 400F degrees.
Combine cream cheese, bacon and goat cheese in a bowl and whip with a hand mixer until combined.
Add mixture to a baking dish (I’m using a 6x6 square) and place in the oven for 20 minutes.
Once hot and bubbly, remove from the oven and pour pepper jelly on top. Smear it edge to edge to cover the whole thing then serve.
Serve with crackers, pita thins or just take a spoon and take a big bite!
Comment and let me know if you have made this recipe before! If you haven’t, give it a try and bring it to your next gathering! Everyone will be sure to love it!
