The Crowd Pleasing Ham Delight!

The 4th of July is almost here! Whether you are hosting a gathering or not, I want to make sure you are prepared for this holiday so you can have the most fun.

My hosting tip today is to lay out your tablescape as far in advance as you can. This way you know exactly what you need to prepare and how much to make!

I shared this quote in my blog post about Calico Beans, but it really sums everything up into one powerful message, so I just have to share it again!

“I do not want to be remembered as a woman who was always exhausted. I do not want to be remembered as a woman who was always stressed, always busy, always rushing, always holding herself together and pushing through.

I would like to be remembered as a relaxed woman, a compassionate woman, a curious, joyful, pleasure-loving woman. A woman who works hard and rests deeply, who loves fiercely and lives peacefully.

A woman who knows her worth and her power, who accepts her imperfections and her vulnerabilities, who embraces her limitations and her possibilities.

A woman who laughs and cries and aches and loves and is enchanted by the mess and magic and mundaneness of this beautiful, shimmering life.”

Check out this delicious Ham Delight dish! If you are in charge of bringing a dish to a gathering- this is one that you can make in a foil pan and easily transport in a Fancy Panz!

Ingredients:

• 1 (12-oz) pkg Hawaiian Rolls

• 3-4 table spoons of your favorite SH&@ Rub or combo, which is what I use, Good & Awe

• 1/2 bottle of J-Mack BBQ Sauce

• at least 12 slices of your favorite ham…I like honey ham

• at least 12 slices of cheese, either Swiss, provolone or a combo of the two, which is what I do

• PLEASE, do not judge… 1/2 to 3/4 stick of butter

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Coat a 13- x 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray;

2. Using a long serrated knife, split the entire loaf of rolls horizontally (do not separate individual rolls from each other). Place the bottom part of the loaf in your BAM PAN.

3. On the bottom part of the loaf drizzled J- Mack BBQ SAUCE about 3 -4 table spoons then sprinkle your favorite SH&@ Rub over the sauce @ 1 & 1/2 table spoons.

4. Add a layer of ham & cheese then repeat with J-MACK SAUCE & RUB. At this point you can add another layer or you can add the top loaf for your final steps.

5. Replace top rolls.

6. Melt the butter and add a little more SH&@ seasoning then pour melted butter over your sliders.

7. Cover your baking dish with aluminum foil. Bake in preheated oven 12-15 minutes. Remove foil; continue baking until cheese is melted and rolls are golden brown, 5 to 7 minutes. Serve immediately.
